Roverville-Radio-Repair-UK

The power of the Internet is awesome. I had given up hope of finding a replacement for the radio in my aging Range Rover. For at least the last three years it has needed a good thump to keep it playing. As you would imagine this has become less and less effective. When I finally remove the radio to find that it goes by the title PRC218 a quick Google reveals that there is an expert in Arkansas in the US who can fix these blighters. Much to my Joy I also find that there is some sort of Branch/Outlet in Sheffield.

A quick email to them and I am told by Tom Monaghan that mine is a common problem and he can probably easily mend it. I posted it off and despite it being Xmas got it back by return of post. A truly amazing service in a very niche area. Well Done!

I have to say that one of the best services that I get these days is from the guys and girls who are working at O2 - any time I have a problem with my phone they fix it really quickly - no fuss no bother. Well done!

Customer Services GNER York

This week I managed to leave my mobile on a train. It was one those occasions that you help bring about yourself. I noticed where my phone was sitting on the train table - just beside my bag. I remember thinking "That the way you could leave your phone behind." Often as is the case you create a self fulfilling prophecy and that is exactly what happened. The train was travelling from Manchester to Middlesborough and the minute I got off at York I knew that I had done exactly what I had earlier feared.

A young lady at the customer services desk could not have been more helpful. First of all she got the number for the train guard and when she could not contact him immediately she told me to leave it to her. She would take care of it and get back to me. This she duly did and I had my phone back less than 2 hour later. I am very grateful and impressed by the service. Well Done GNER!
